Cedar Canyon by Pendleton
Created by Native American artist Ramona Sakiestewa, this USA-made wool blanket pays homage to the strength and utility of the cedar tree, considered by many Nations to be sacred. Bark and berries from can be used for medicine and food, with wood used for building and carving. This pattern embraces the colours of the tree, with an enclosing, protective diamond at the centre.
