Tree of Life Blanket by Pendleton
This joyful pattern is inspired by a traditional Navajo rug design from the 1840s that's still produced today. A tree or young corn stalk, a Native American staple for centuries, represents life and abundance. It springs from a wedding basket, with the bevy of brightly coloured birds representing the children of the marriage. Like most "Tree of Life" rugs, our USA-made wool blanket has a plain, solid-colour border.
