Cheyenne Eagle Blanket by Pendleton

A USA-made wool blanket based on the story of the Eagle, the Elk and the Warrior, often told by Native American artist (and former Colorado Senator) Ben Nighthorse Campbell. In the story, a Cheyenne warrior saw an eagle trapped in an elk's antlers. After the man freed the eagle, the eagle thanked him with the gift of a beautiful stallion resembling the colours of the eagle's feathers.

Created exclusively for the American Indian College Fund (ACIF), a nonprofit organization that helps fund scholarships for Native American students and tribal colleges. Your purchase helps support their honourable mission. Photograph: Raymond Meeks.
