Annette Faye

Annette was born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. She is a self taught artist who has experimented with many different media. She started at a very early age - expressing artistically the feelings she was unable to experss verbally. Her creative outlets soon encompassed wood burning, ceramics, and painting on a variety of nature's gifts. Some of her early work includes ink drawings on birch bark! She has since switched to illustrating her many emotions on canvas, and she has been able to channel negative aspects of her past into beautiful works of art. Her ability to survive these experiences have been a blessing to the art world. Her art speaks courageously of her struggles and triumphs. She also draws inspiration from the natural world of animals and beauty of the woods, where she is most at ease.
