Traditional regalia of all descriptions can be found throughout the gallery. Some, such as this headdress are museum quality or used in powwows and special occasions. The quality of the work and the materials used dictate price ranges from a few dollars to literally thousands.

| Choose from full suits of beaded and quillwork clothing, breastplates, headdresses, boots and moccasins, dresses, pipes, staffs, rattles, drums, fans and of course jewelry. Some very rare items are housed in the museum downstairs and are not for sale. To the right is an image of a colourful headpiece and breastplate using fur, quills, bones, leather and beads.

The leather items at the gallery are made of deer, moose, caribou and reindeer as well as the more economical cow! Beads run the gamut from plastic and glass to bone and shell.

| We have a fabulous collection of dreamcatchers! You will find these wonderful creations throughout the gallery and hundreds more in the downstairs boutique. Our dreamcatchers are available in a wide variety of sizes, colors, materials and prices ranging from a few dollars to a hundred and fifty.

Using natural materials such as leather, bone, horn, feathers and fur our artists create truly stunning sculpture and wall hangings in both traditional and contemporary designs.

| Colourful festival dress is depicted in this collection of dolls. Figurines dressed in native costume and traditional occupations are a frequent theme of many of the artworks and crafts found at the gallery.

Of course we have many containers of wood, grasses, clay and leather, emblazoned with traditional and contemporary patterns. Our vast collection of masks also combines traditional meanings and workmanship with contemporary design.

| We are very proud of our collection of quill boxes. Crafted from birch bark and dyed porcupine quills, these works of art range from $70 to $10,000! Many hours of painstaking work goes into each box to cover every last millimeter in quills.

Roll up the U-haul. Sometimes Whetung Gallery features larger crafts, such as this garden bench, by local artisans. Currently we have a selection of birch easels and a wonderful collection of inlaid wood furniture right in the gallery!

Continuing thousands of years of tradition, the pelts of fox, rabbit and other non-endangered species are incorporated into practical and decorative crafts.
